Hello all, it’s officially my first work at home income report!
This income report will show how I made money online the previous month (June 2018) and also details about it, plans and goals for next month/the future, etc.
Before getting into it, I just want to explain that this is solely for informational/inspirational purposes for those interested in working at home (or anywhere) or wanting to make more money doing it.
I have been exclusively working at home for over 3 years now (mainly as an independent contractor up to this point), but income reports were a big part of why I decided to start blogging and begin my freelance writing business journey. The base of it all though is my love and passion for freedom and flexibility with work, self-care/healthy lifestyles, and adventure.
If you are skeptical about it, please know that there really are legitimate opportunities out there as an employee, independent contractor, blogging and other freelance business opportunities.
I do have multiple resources to help you with your own journey in the following posts if you are interested!:

So let’s get into it!
June 2018 income (before taxes/expenses):
Freelance writing: $481.70
Private/Contract work: $648
Affiliate sales: $.20
Grand total: $1,129.90 (actual number)
Overall it was a decent month! My income was actually lower than usual because of several reasons. I was in the process of preparing and then actually moving all in this month, there were some changes in what I was doing for some contract work, and didn’t have much extra time for working on the freelance side of things.
(As you can see, I am unable to share specific details about the contract work and it must remain private, but just know that there are many IC opportunities available in so many companies!)
Also, a small portion of my freelance writing income noted here was actually from right before the month, but I just added it into this month since it was so close and this is my first income report. Now that moving is done with, I definitely plan on working on this part even more since I have more time. It’s wonderful to be able to completely focus again.
As far as blogging and affiliate marketing goes, I also plan to improve much more! Even with a small start, it is still so inspiring. Once you start to see results from all the work you’ve put in, it feels amazing.
If you are interested in starting a blog/website as well, I do recommend GoDaddy hosting completely. Their plans start at just $1.00 which enabled me to actually start on this journey. I’m very grateful!
So, what’s next?
My goals for next month (July 2018):
– Reach 5,000 monthly website sessions
– Reach 100,000 monthly Pinterest views
– Reach 500 Pinterest followers
– Reach $2,000 work at home income
– Work on a better content/promotion schedule
Goals for the rest of the year:
– Grow my blogging/freelance writing business even more
– Work on and improve social media content/accounts
– Increase to around $5,000 a month in income
– Reach 25,000 monthly website sessions
Overall, it is definitely possible to make a good income online. I have been doing it for the past 3 years and there are many others making way more than I am. Making an income while having more freedom and flexibility is a dream come true and I love to assist others on their own journeys!
I hope that you’ll continue to join me for the ride (and enjoy all the resources) and I would love to hear about yours as well.
